Animals Cruelty and Meat Industries

Animals Cruelty and Meat Industries

It's been a while since mankind started consumption of animal products, ever since human race stepped on planet earth he conquered lands, crossed the oceans, flew over skies and dominated animals kingdom and with it pollution, global warming, diseases and catastrophic misuse of resources followed with. Animal cruelty is one of the major issues in United States, and all the slaughter houses, fish and poultry farms and many others deemed to produce what supposedly is called "Quality Food" for almost 325.7 million people, and that is not being said all the people across the nation use animal products in their daily bases, and even not all the mentioned farms may kill unethically but what is important to be considered is we cant inspect every single slaughter house in The United States. According to PETA and the video leaked from meat industry containing horrifying images containing abuse and mistreatment with animals in death rows.

‘Here’s the Rest of Your Wool Coat’

The first movement started where PETA revealed graphic footage with animals lined in death rows, some of them weren't in good condition, some left in a corners to die due to inability to move, blood and filth, and mud could observe clearly from each side of the slaughter. footage also revealed the emotion of those animals scared from being butcher and refused to move but workers of slaughter house were kicking, hitting them with sticks and rods and drag them to their ending point. After pigs getting orchiectomy with no anesthetic administrated to them they left to be healed or they wound got infected and lead animal to be killed by members. I reached my community and questioning them about what is going on in some slaughter houses and what possibly they consume in their daily life, another word they delicious stake or humbler could possibly came from such places and will be served as a happy meal! I couldn't abide such torture and cruelty against animals I dedicated my life to be a pescetarian-vegan for rest of my life. Some people claimed that veganism might effect their life and lead to malnutrition, but I would like to share information from I LOVE VEGAN. COM

HEALTH BENEFITS OF A PLANT-BASED DIET

A vegan diet can be one of the healthiest ways to live. Plant-based diets should contain plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables, whole grains, beans, legumes, nuts and seeds. Because vegan diets often rely heavily on these healthy staples, they tend to be higher in vitamins, minerals, phytochemicals, and fibre. Healthy vegan diets are abundant with vitamins B1, C, and E, folic acid, magnesium, and iron while also being low in cholesterol and saturated fats.
A plant-based vegan diet can reduce the risk of mortality from conditions such as:
  • Type 2 diabetes
  • Cardiovascular disease
  • Ischemic heart disease
  • Hypertension
  • Stroke
  • Obesity
  • Some cancers including prostate and colon cancer
Vegan diets can be healthy for anyone of any age, including children, pregnant and lactating women, and the elderly. It’s important to note that vegans need to pay special attention to their diets to avoid specific nutrient deficiencies. There is little risk of deficiency in a well-planned vegan diet. For more information regarding vegan nutrition, visit our resource Nutrition on a Vegan DietBecoming Vegan by Brenda Davis and Vesanto Melina is also a fantastic resource for ensuring optimal health while living a vegan lifestyle.
As an individual by turning to veganism I protested against slaughter houses and benefited both environment and my own body.

Vaheh H. believes that some of the animals are being killed unethically, since era of hunting and gathering is over us as human being who lives in cites and have less control over situations that animals are being slaughter ethically and unethically. He mentions even eating meat is unnecessary and nowadays we have access to more food chains than before.
Rachel L, who is vegan too propose that eating animals is equal to eating your pet dogs or cats and having such feeling made her turn to vegan. She claimed that by consuming more meat people gave more power to meat industries to kill and slaughter animals, she also mentioned veganism had influenced her health and mindset.
