Abortion means woman is ending of pregnancy by removing an embryo before it can survive outside the uterus. It also the termination a human pregnancy, most performed during the first 28 weeks of pregnancy.

 

Research 

Primary nationwide abortion statistics of the United States are available from two sources: Guttmacher Institute (AGI) and Centers for Disease Control (CDC). 1) 89% of all abortions in the United States are performed in the first trimester of pregnancy. 2) 11% of all abortions in the United States are performed in the second and third trimesters of pregnancy. In the United States, number of abortions per year is 1.21 million, and number of abortion per day is 3.3. There are 13.2 abortions per 1000 women aged 15-44.

Why People Are Doing Abortion

• Birth control failure
• Inability to take care for a child
• To end an unwanted pregnancy
• To prevent the birth of a child with birth defects or with medical problem
• Pregnancy resulting from rape or incest
• Physical that endanger the woman's health if she pregnancy

Reasons Not to Have An Abortion

Why Is this issue important to me

Abortion is still a problem in the United States. In some states, abortion is legal, but it 
depends on how long women has been pregnant. in my own opinion, I am against abortion 
because it's very cruel. If babies can speck, I think they want to be alive. Even though 
abortion is the mother's choice, but you do not know how the babies feel when you do that. 
If I am a baby and my mother does abortion. I will think that my mother abandoned me, and 
she wants to throw me away. In religion, Christian is against abortion because Load does 
not allow us to do that. In the bible, Jeremiah 1:5 Before you were formed in the body of 
your mother I had knowledge of you, and before your birth i made you holy; I have given 
you the work of being a prophet to the nations. In Exodus 21:22-25 said, Id men, while 
fighting, do damage to a woman with child, causing the loss of the child, but no other evil 
comes to her, the man will have to make payment up to the amount fixed by her husband,in 
agreement with the decision of the judge. But if damage comes to her, let life be given in 
payment for life, eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot, burning for 
burning, wound for wound, blow for blow.

Couple years ago, I witnessed one of my friends came though the process of abortion. It does not only torture her body physically, but also strikes her mind mentally. That even has dramatically affected her view of life. In my opinion, abortion kills the fetus, and indeed, some part tender deep inside of a woman.

I am against abortion not only because I am a Christian but also a mother of a one year old daughter. Abortion is same as killing. When a women is pregnant, a little life is inside her, it's not just a cell. So in my opinion, abortion should be prohibited.
